About me...

Hi, my name is Amy and I have many roles in my life. I am an Early Years teacher by trade, a wife to my unbelievable husband Neil and new mum to my son Theo. I love things to look just so and enjoy any opportunity to style something whether it be rooms in my house, clothes or photographs.

I have held this little corner of the internet for 3 years but after a LONG break away, I have been inspired by my group of 5k Instagram follows, to start up 'The Hearty Home' again. We've had a bit of a freshen up around here and I'm ready to share again.

Who knows where this space will go this time. I'm in a completely new phase of my life but feel that all things motherhood will play a big part in this blog. Starting off with our 'Not perfect - but positive' birth story.
